An Architect that Designs doesn't always deliver and an Architect that delivers doesn't always design.

Most Architects are in that second category. Most Architects rarely touch proper concept design after they've qualified so it can be a rare skillset. This is the one we're targeting for a company that can offer you genuine cross sector, capital project, high profile experience and projects... the money follows on from that as you would expect.

It's rare that an Architectural practice will pay and Associate Architect anything like £50k never mind a Senior Architect. You have to look at multidisciplinary practices to find businesses that grade Architects correctly, in line with Structural, MEP and equivalent engineering disciplines.

£55,000 - £60,000 + £5000 Car Allowance, + an four figure annual bonus, + up to 10% pension contribution + lots of other benefits including extended holidays.

At what purely Architectural business are you going to find that kind of package?

At what purely Architectural business will you work on Bus Stations, Rail Stations, Universities, Hospitals, Towers, Shopping Centres, Aviation from £20m - £500m in project value. A place where design matters, and a place, if only recently where attractive design matters more than ever. A business that has the money, the backing and the ability to raise it's profile as a stand alone commercial practice.
