Job Description

My leading construction client is currently looking to hire a Recruitment & Training Coordinator to bolster their operation UK wide. This position is pivotal for the business and requires the candidate to have a solid understanding of full-cycle recruiting, admin tasks and the ability to design effective training programs.


Key responsibilities:
Working with Managers to ensure all colleagues are trained in line with health and safety
Help line management to assess training needs of existing and new colleagues and to develop a skills enhancement program designed to add value
Working with HR to develop internal training programs
Coordinating and delivering internal training programs
Maintaining training records on the HR database
Continuously improving training programmes as necessary.


Key responsibilities of the Recruitment aspect include:
Developing/creating innovative and appealing job descriptions
Researching and defining market competitive/attractive salaries and packages
Agreeing upon recruitment programmes appropriate to the level of the role and the business needs
Assessment/interview processes
Advertising and promoting roles/vacancies both internally and externally
Assessing applications (internal, external direct and from recruitment partners)

Ideally, you will have:
Ability to work under pressure
Preferably 1 years+ experience in a busy recruitment focused position
Preferably 2 years+ experience in Training and development
Excellent communication skills
An outgoing and confident approach
Good computer skills with experience in excel, MSOffice and recruitment search engines
Strong attention to detail
Highly motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude
