Quantity Surveyor required work on residential and/or commercial groundworks schemes within a commute of Lincolnshire.

This is a medium sized regional Civil Engineering Contractor based in central Lincolnshire.

Established in 2005 they specialise in groundworks and civils services throughout the East Midlands region and the majority is repeat business from a number local and national main contractors.

Their range of skills and equipment means capable of undertaking projects in a large variety of sectors ranging from domestic builds to major infrastructure works.

They employ a fully skilled and diverse workforce cable of adapting to the challenges often faced by the industry and continually deliver an extremely high-quality service, on time and on budget

Role

• Surveying of Civil Engineering Projects
• Production and management of accurate valuations, including subcontract enquiries, cost monitoring and preparation of valuation and final accounts.
• Management of sub-contractors.
• Working closely with clients, commercial and contract delivery teams.

Required

• A background of working with a groundworks contractor
• Approximately 5 years knowledge of working on commercial and/or residential groundworks schemes
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Methodical style of working
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Team working ethic
• Experience of Conquest Software would be an advantage

They are looking to pay £45,000-£50,000 per annum plus package.
