Kenton Black Finance have partnered with a well-established Company in the Fylde Coast area. This business are a brand leader in their niche industry and are recruiting to meet the needs of their strong client base. They are therefore interviewing for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their already experienced team. Your new role as the Purchase Ledger Clerk:
The Purchase Ledger Clerk will report into the Finance Manager and will be processing a high volume of invoices onto the finance system. You will be responsible for the general ledger invoice coding and postings, whilst liaising with stores and office departments to ensure all invoices are authorised for payment. In addition, you will be chasing up VAT invoices which have been paid on a pro-forma basis, numbering and filing processed invoices and performing supplier statement reconciliations and resolution of issues. Lastly, you will be monitoring the Finance emails and carrying out actions as necessary to clear the inbox, whilst supporting with reconciling paperwork received weekly to transactions processed through the tills during busy and holiday periods.
Experience & Qualifications required to apply:
To be considered, you must possess at least 2 years experience in a similar role. Ideally you will have Excel and computer skills, excellent communication abilities and impeccable attention to detail skills. In addition, you will be capable of problem solving, possess analytical skills and capable of working well under pressure. You must be able to demonstrate that you are well-organised, and you're able to work to strict deadlines.
