Kenton Black Finance have partnered with an established family run business in the Morecambe area. This company have been operating for over 100 years and pride themselves on the product they provide their customers. They are looking to broaden their finance function by adding an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant to the team. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced and driven individual who wishes to work for an organisation that puts their staff at the heart of everything they look to achieve.
Your New Role as the Purchase Ledger Assistant:
As the Purchase Ledger Assistant, you will report directly to the Finance Manager, where you will process invoices, reconcile to purchase orders, set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger. You will carry out monthly reconciliation of supplier statements, assist in the preparation of purchase summaries, process business expense claims and process BACS payments. In addition, you will provide excellent customer service to both internal and external partners, resolve queries smoothly and efficiently and ensure the integrity of purchase orders and receipts.
Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:
To be considered, you must be possess at least 2 years experience in a similar role. You will be enthusiastic, motivated and be able to demonstrate a high attention to detail. In addition, you will be organised, methodical and have good Excel skills.
