Job Description

Our client is a growing, privately owned house builder based in the Peterborough area. The business specialises in the construction of bespoke housing developments up to 5 bedroom properties.

The business currently has an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor from either a contracting or house building background to join the business. Reporting into the Commercial Manager you will focus on commercial aspects of multiple sites.

Candidate Criteria
• Experience working as Quantity Surveyor for a house builder
• A degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Holds a full driving licence.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Good negotiating skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Knowledge of contract law relating to construction issues.
• Knowledge of construction techniques and materials.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety related issues.
• Computer literate in the use of valuation systems and Microsoft Office.

My client is offering up to £40,000 for the ideal candidate.
