Up to £70,000 per annum
Groundworks Project Manager required for a major commercial groundworks scheme, in Birmingham.
These are a highly reputable groundworks contractor that was started 30 years ago, they have a turnover of £7M target £10M, 70 Staff,
they have 6-8 sites with a values of up to £2M.
All sites are within 60 miles of the office, furthest Nottingham and Banbury (Frameworks Central on HS2).
Project management supervising and direct operations on groundworks schemes
Responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and within budget
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
Leadership skills liaising with stakeholders and the client’s professional representatives, subcontractors and other internal and external company staff
Ability to negotiate and be a problem solver
Ensure work is completed using an organised and planned method
Meet agreed specifications, within budgets, timescales and in compliance with relevant regulations and legislation
Project Manager with a background working for groundwork contractors
Degree in Civil Engineering or similar
Project management qualification or similar
Proven track record of managing groundwork project from inception to completion within budgets, timescales and in compliance with relevant regulations and legislation
