Planning Manager – Privately Owned House Builder - Northampton

We have a perfect opportunity for an experienced planning professional looking to work for a dynamic, successful housebuilder with some truly exciting future plans.

Our client is one of the UK’s most successful and largest privately-owned house builders who possess an excellent reputation for building top quality homes.

Following the granting of outline planning permission, the successful candidate will create and implement (in conjunction with planning, design and technical departments) a detailed programme to take care of all the necessary procedures and obtain full planning consent for new build housing developments.

This will involve liaison with in-house teams as well as with local authorities, to agree action plans and maintain progress in meeting all obligations and requirements, working to a strict timetable. At the same time, identifying and implementing cost-saving and efficiency opportunities.
