Kenton Black Finance have partnered with a leading manufacturing group who are looking to appoint an experienced Management Accountant due to a restructure within the finance team. Your New Role as Management Accountant:

As Management Accountant, you will report to an experienced and engaging Financial Controller who will act as a mentor to facilitate development opportunities. You will gain exposure across all divisions within the Group in a varied role which will include many hands on and business facing duties. This is a pivotal appointment which enables you to gain high profile within the organisation as you will be required to liaise with various key stakeholders, both internally and externally.

Your duties will include the production of the monthly management accounts pack including P&L, balance sheet and associated narratives. You will provide insights into sales, costing and margin analysis to enable effective evaluation of performance and decision making. You will support with the year end process and assist the FC in the production of budgets and forecasts.

As well as routine accounting duties, you will also be a key player in various projects. You will be involved in implementing improvements to existing systems and processes, and support with growth initiatives as required.

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

To be considered, you will be established in a similar level Management Accounting role and you will ideally hold full CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualification although my client is welcoming applications from individuals who are qualified to a similar level through experience. A background within the manufacturing sector is advantageous but not essential, which therefore makes this a great opportunity for a Management Accountant to gain exposure to manufacturing and cost accounting processes. Strong IT skills are imperative including Excel and you will have an analytical mindset with a forward thinking approach to your work.
