Health and Safety Administrator – Civils/Groundworks - £25k-£35k + package – West Midlands based with regional site visits.
I am looking for a Health & safety candidate to join my client on a perm basis as a SHEQ Administrator. This is a real opportunity for an up-and-coming health and safety professional to be effective for a company striving to be a market leader in their sector. Reporting directly to the SHEQ Manager, you will be supporting the HSE team and general workforce to continually improve health and safety.
Provide support to the Health and Safety department
Provide training, first aid box checks and promote safety awareness in the workplace
Conduct Health and Safety inductions for new employees and subcontractors
Assist with emergency, accident, and near-miss investigations
Ensure that safety and personal protective equipment is
used as per manufacturer’s instructions
An aspiration to pursue a career in Health & Safety
An H&S qualification (essential)
Experience with Health and Safety metrics
Understanding and awareness of the application of health and safety in the construction/building services industry
Good knowledge of Health and Safety basic regulatory and legal framework
Good knowledge of the Health and Safety hazards faced in the construction industry
