The organisation are in a period of high growth and have a successful track record spanning many years in the sector they operate. As the business grows and the requirements from finance increase, they are looking to add a talented Finance Manager who will be a pivotal part of the management team and someone to support the development of individuals and support the finance team to deliver accounting duties as a unit.
Your new role as Finance Manager:
As Finance Manager you shall enjoy a varied role. Managing the ledgers whilst also producing the reporting to trial balance, you shall work closely with the Head of Finance, enhancing process and developing the team to establish timely and accurate monthly/yearly accounting. A leader and someone to mentor the staff, you shall work with the team to deliver results and maintain accuracy along the way.
Main Role Duties:
• Manage and develop a team of 6 in the finance function
• Completion of Management Accounts to trial balance with associated reporting
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations and control accounting
• Ongoing development of process and procedure
Experience & Qualifications Required to apply:
To be considered you shall be part or fully CIMA /ACCA/ ACA qualified with strong technical skills and a proven track record of adding value in a management position. A natural leader who likes to mentor and develop staff, you shall have team supervision experience and be seeking a varied role which offers the opportunity to add value at a senior level. With experience of producing accounts both monthly/yearly to trail balance you may also have has responsibility to produce final accounts. With excellent attention to detail, a proven ability to work under pressure and with experience of working with extremely confidential and highly sensitive information, you shall be proficient at developing strong working relationships across an organisation
