Kenton Black Finance have partnered with an international service based organisation as they seek to appoint a Finance Business Partner. Due to continued expansion and exciting future plans, this newly created position entails a combination of technical finance duties with lots of scope to provide commercial input to the business.
With a global reach, this specialist service business operates from their Lancaster based Head Office (LA1), with other offices located across Europe, Canada and North America.
My client is welcoming applications from candidates requiring full or part time working arrangements, with a good degree of flexibility being offered around working hours and some remote working.
Your New Role as Finance Business Partner:
Reporting to the CFO, as Finance Business Partner you will work in a small finance team of 4-5 and play a key role in managing the financial performance of all business units within the Group. You will be responsible for management reporting and budgeting/forecasting activities; regularly challenging processes to achieve continuous improvement; you will provide input to cost, margin and profitability modelling and analysis; provide reliable data and insights to support effective decision making; perform full P&L analysis providing commentary; and build/maintain strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders.
You will also be involved in various projects including an upcoming ERP system implementation which will begin later this year.
This is an ideal opportunity for a commercially minded Management Accountant looking for a varied role which offers much opportunity to add value in a business facing role.
Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:
To be considered you should be part or fully CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified, and demonstrate strong commercial acumen. Experience of multi-currencies is desirable but not essential and you will possess strong IT skills including MS Excel. You will be a confident communicator, experienced in delivering financial findings to various stakeholders within a business, building strong relationships.
Salary and Reward on Offer:
There is genuine scope for progression within this role, my client envisages this role to develop into a staff management position and as the Group continues to expand, development opportunities will be available. There is a significant level of flexibility in this role - my client is open to discussing part or full time working arrangements, and you will be able to work part of the week remotely with flexibility around working hours.
