Kenton Black Finance have partnered with an established business in the East Lancs area. This business have been operating for over 20 years and are interviewing for a Customer Claims Administrator to join their already experienced team. This is the perfect opportunity for a motivated and aspiring individual looking for the next step in their career.

Your new role as the Customer Claims Administrator:

As the Customer Claims Administrator, you will process all customer claims in respect of damages/ shortage / over deliveries, whilst entering the details of each claim accurately onto an Excel spreadsheet used to monitor all claims. You will also investigate the claim to decide if it's a valid claim, then collate all relevant paperwork to back up the claim and present the information to the relevant Director for authorisation / rejection. In addition, you will process all authorised credit claims accurately in Sage, print off the credit notes, posting out the original and taking a copy for the relevant sales representative. You will also scan all documentation in relation to each claim onto the paperless scanning system, consult with the credit control team on any disputed claims on the next action to be taken, and if required, write to customers informing them of any disputed credit claims. Lastly, you will produce the sales invoices during staff absence from a list provided by Logistics, process EDI invoices on the electronic invoice system in staff absence and provide switchboard cover in the absence of the Receptionist at break times and full-time cover during staff holidays.

Experience & Qualifications required to apply:

To be considered, you must possess at least 2 years experience in a similar role. Ideally you will have Excel skills, excellent communication abilities and impeccable attention to detail skills. In addition, you will be capable of problem solving, possess analytical skills and capable of working well under pressure. You must be able to demonstrate that you are well-organised, and you're able to work to strict deadlines.
