The business is at an exciting stage of sustained growth and subsequently they are looking for a Credit Controller to join a highly talented finance function as part of the team, this role will sit within in their professional, well structured environment and will be a pivotal addition to the business.
Your new role as Credit Controller:
As a Credit Controller in this fast-paced role you will manage many medium and large sized customer accounts across the entire business. With a demonstrable experience in a credit control and accounts department you will be comfortable managing your own workload and will report directly to the Business Services Director. You will respond to the business needs but will also offer suggestions and improvements. You will be a team player with good people and communication skills.
Day to day duties:
• Cash collection and achieving aged debt targets.
• Create relationships with all customer payments teams and reconciling debtor accounts.
• Dealing with a varying volume of clients and variety of client types such as business owners, finance managers and accounts personnel.
• Responsible for a customer based of circa 200.
• Working within both agreed and incentivised terms.
• Achieving daily targets including chasing payments via phone letter and email.
• Attend and take a proactive role within weekly meetings in order to agree and assess priorities.
• Production of weekly and monthly reports for the Directors of the business.
Experience & Qualifications Required to apply:
Ideal candidates will have a strong background within Credit Control either at a clerk, senior or management level. You will be self motivated with excellent communication skills. Candidates must have strong IT skills and the ability to build working relationships both internally and externally.
