Your new role as Cost Accountant:
As Cost Accountant you shall take the lead in this specialist area of finance to support the manufacturing process and wider commercial divisions. Working closely with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement, you shall support the Financial Controller to develop and streamline effective reporting, whilst producing meaningful data to support the business. As the sole Cost Accountant for the business you shall also become embedded with the manufacturing department, providing cross divisional exposure to the wider business. A role which will provide insight and visibility to the manufacturing processes, you shall seek to enhance the profitability of the business. Part of your role shall also be to develop the pricing strategy and enhance visibility for the commercial heads for effective decision making.
Experience & Qualifications Required to apply:
To be considered you shall have operated in a similar role and have the experience in the costing arena to maintain and develop effective reporting. With a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, within a fast paced finance environment you shall have strong excel skills and have worked with EPR systems in this capacity. With a proven ability to partner across operations you shall have good working knowledge of other MS Office packages.
