The role is a buying assistant to be part of the procurement team in the Warrington office.

The role holder shall undertake their duties in an efficient and effective manner ensuring compliance with Domis policies, procedures and principles.

Procurement Assistant - Key Duties:
• Provide support to the Head of Supply Chain in placing orders, getting best price, sharing information
• Sending material enquiries out
• Analysis on quotes
• Using SAGE to place orders
• Managing supplier catalogues within SAGE
• Maintaining purchase order trackers
• Completing scheme specific profit / loss reports
• Attending site & design team meetings
• Dealing with site and supplier queries
• Dealing with invoice disputes

Procurement Assistant - Personal Attributes:
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Excellent organisational skills
• Able to work on their own initiative, and competent in prioritising workloads

Procurement Assistant – Requirements:
• Previous experience in Viewpoint for Projects (formerly 4P) is desirable
• Experience within a procurement department (preferably within construction) is desirable but not essential
• Excellent knowledge and practice of Microsoft Office e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Email
• Experience of SAGE 200 is desirable but not essential
• CIPS Level 4 is desirable but not essential
