Business Development Manager
£32,000-£38,000 per annum plus package
They are looking for a Business Development Manager to implement and drive an exciting business development strategy to drive business development in the Bristol area.
This company is a modular building innovator with over 50 years operating in 7 countries, employing more than 1,500 staff.
Based with otheir Site Accommodation team in Bristol you will embed and drive business development activity within our commercial teams in order to maximize opportunities and awareness of the Portakabin offering.
Proven track record in identifying and developing business opportunities for key commercial targets Experience carrying out business development campaign/cold calling
Full UK driving licence
Experience managing others would be beneficial but is not an essential requirement.
Salary £32,000 - £38,000 (plus commission) plus package
Achieve hire order targets
Build up existing contacts in the construction sector, utilising the existing databases, as well as developing new relationships.
Be aware of potential hire opportunities and ensure wherever possible customer contact is made.
Generate fresh business development initiatives to heighten local awareness in the area and ensure maximum conversion of direct enquires.
Prepare and issue quotations and promptly follow up all quotations and negotiate to achieve orders.
Foster and develop sound internal and external customer relationships through effective communication to provide excellent levels of service.
Where and when required visit customer’s sites to advise on local conditions and carry out damage checks.
Provide appropriate statistical information on a weekly/monthly basis as required.
Reconciliation of internal systems (e.g. CRM) to ensure that they are aligned.
