ABOUT THE ROLE
You will play an integral part in the Management Accounts team by carrying out BOOKKEEPING activities and the preparation of monthly management accounts.
-Attending client sites where necessary to carry out bookkeeping in a timely and accurate manner on both Sage and Xero.
-Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts with the support of Senior Management Accountants if necessary.
-Developing strong working relationships with clients.
-Reconciliation of bank accounts, sales ledger control and purchase ledger control/statements.
-Attend client meetings with Senior Management Accountants/Directors where necessary.
-Furthering your studies towards your chosen qualification.
YOU WILL HAVE;
-Previous experience in a similar Bookkeeping or management accounting position, ideally within a practice environment.
-Familiar with Xero, Quickbooks, SAGE and the Microsoft Office software package especially Excel.
-Analytically strong with an eye for detail.
-Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop working relationships with clients.
-Be AAT qualified and /or working towards ACCA/ACA/CIMA or have equivalent experience.
